Happy Halloween! Rounding up our favorite Halloween movies for the kids today. Nothing is better this time of year to watch a fun movie with the family. We love FreeForm channel this time of year, they do 31 days of Halloween movies so every night it’s a different movie. These have been our favorites all month long!

Favorite Halloween Movies For Kids

Classic Movies

• The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown – Halloween isn’t complete without watching ths classic!
• The Adventures of Icabod and Mr. Toad – We watched this one on Disney+, and the boys thought is a was a fun. It’s actualy two short movies in one. The Lengend of Sleepy Hallow and then The Frog and Mr. Toad.
• Hotel Transylvania – The Hotel Transylvania series, I think there are 3 movies out now, but are all pretty funny. But to summarize Dracula operate a high-end resort hotel.
• The Addams Family – The boys love the cartton version that came out in 2019.
• The Nightmare Before Christmas – Bodhi is obsessed with Jack and in this movie (all year long) not just now becuase it is Halloween but I had to include it.
• Ghostbusters – We have to watch this one every year, and the original is our favorite.

My Favorite Halloween Movie

• Hocus Pocus – My favorite movie to watch every year is Hocus Pocus. I’m planning a trip next year to Salem durng October and plan to visit the house and town where this movie took place. Also I can’t wait for the second movie to come out that I hear is filming now.

New We Watched

• The Muppets The Haunted Mansion – We thought this one was super cute and funny. Especially since we went to Disney this summer and we all went on the Haunted Mansion ride. The boys thought it was funny.
• Under Wraps – Another new movie on Disney+ about a mummy that comes back to life and helps out a group of kids. This was Cooper’s favorite.
